The Rindge Womanโ€™s Club will relaunch its annual holiday assistance program on Nov. 30, continuing a tradition that has supported local children for more than 30 years. The program places โ€œgiving treesโ€ in public locations, offering tags that list gift wishes for children in need.

This season introduces a new tree at Rindge Verizon Wireless in the plaza with Market Basket. Returning locations include Rindge Walmart and Ingalls Memorial Library. Community members who want to participate can take a tag from any tree and return one wrapped gift with the tag attached to the same location by Saturday, Dec. 13.

Organizers emphasize that one tag represents one gift. Each child has multiple tags on the trees, and each contribution is one part of a larger package prepared for every family. Volunteers known as the Elves will organize and deliver the gifts by Dec. 20.

Residents seeking assistance can apply by calling Marilyn at 603-899-3083.

The Rindge Womanโ€™s Club encourages early participation to ensure all gifts are collected and prepared on time. The group says the program continues to depend on community generosity to help make the holidays brighter for local children.
