Shelter From the Storm, a nonprofit providing transitional housing and support services for the homeless in New Hampshire, will hold its 14th annual Antique Roadshow-style event and Basket Bonanza on Friday, Nov. 21, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Woodbound Inn in Rindge.
The evening will feature professional appraisers evaluating gold and silver coins, fine jewelry, sterling silver, and antiques. Anyone attending can bring one item for appraisal and enjoy an evening of music, refreshments and raffles. Tickets are $35 per person or $50 for two and include one appraisal, refreshments, and entry into prize drawings.
Raffle prizes total $2,025 in cash, along with gift certificates, artwork, themed baskets, and a year of wine raffle. A 50/50 drawing and silent auction also will be held, featuring prizes including a ton of wood pellets, golf outings, and restaurant gift cards.
Tickets are available at the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce, the Shelter From the Storm office at 45 Knight St., the Woodbound Inn, from board members, or online at shelterfromthestormnh.org under “Upcoming Events.” Online purchasers should print their PayPal receipt as their ticket.
