The Milford Vietnam Veterans Memorial Committee has announced that construction of the long-awaited Milford Vietnam Veterans Memorial is nearing completion.
Created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, the memorial will serve as a lasting tribute to those who served, sacrificed, and helped build the community after returning home.
The dedication ceremony will take place on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025. Ceremonies will begin at 11 a.m. at the Milford Oval, followed by the official dedication at 11:30 a.m. at 1 Union St. Free parking will be available at the First Congregational Church, 10 Union St.
The committee is seeking community support to close a $20,000 funding gap needed to complete final materials and contracted work. Donations may be mailed to the Vietnam Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 7252, Milford, NH 03055, or made online by searching “Milford NH Vietnam Memorial” on GoFundMe.
Gold sponsors contributing $5,000 or more will be recognized on a plaque near the memorial.
