Former Monadnock Ledger-Transcript reporter Eric Poor of Rindge has released his debut novel, “Invasive Species,” in collaboration with former Monadnock Ledger-Transcript sports reporter Joe Bills of Wilton.
The supernatural thriller introduces readers to an unsettling menace โ large, intelligent, and venomous wasps that threaten the fabric of small-town life.
Poor, a veteran journalist, channels decades of newsroom experience into the novelโs characters and settings. Bills, now co-owner of Escape Hatch Books in Jaffrey, which published the book, described the story as โa throwback to the pulp sci-fi and mystery novels that many of us grew up with.โ
“Invasive Species” is available at The Toadstool Bookshops in Peterborough and Keene, Escape Hatch Books in Jaffrey, and on Amazon for $7.99.
