The Jaffrey Public Library will accept gently used book donations on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Bean Room on the main level. Additional collection dates are Nov. 8 and Dec. 13.
The Friends of the Library review all books before accepting them. Popular donations include recent fiction, mysteries, biographies and nonfiction. The Friends cannot accept magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, travel guides, or medical, financial or computer books. All books should be clean and in good condition.
Donations are accepted only on these designated Saturdays. Proceeds from sales support library programs and services.
