Two minors were uninjured when their car veered off the road and struck a tree on Wednesday, Oct. 1, according to police.

At about 8:31 p.m., police received a report of a crash on 533 Thorndike Pond Road. Police found that the 17-year-old driver, from Rindge, had lost control while going around a corner, and the 2013 Subaru Impreza he was driving had left the road and hit a tree. Speed may have been a factor in this crash, according to police.

A second minor was a passenger in the car. Both the driver and passenger reported no injuries and were picked up from the scene by their parents.
