Deane DeHotman
Woodsock, GA – Commander Deane DeHotman, of Woodstock, Georgia
formerly of New Hampshire passed away, Wednesday, September 17th,
2025, at Camellia Place following a brief illness. He was 85 years
old.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20,
2025, at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daryel O’Barr
officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at
funeral home on Saturday. Burial will follow later in Arlington
National Cemetery.
Commander DeHotman was born July 27, 1940, in Williamsport, PA to the
late Fletcher and Mary Reeder DeHotman. Deane also attended and
graduated from Williamsport High School. After graduating high school,
Deane attended California Polytechnical University and was an
Engineering Major until he got drafted during the Vietnam War.
Commander DeHotman spent several years in the U.S. Navy and was a
Commissioned Officer. After his military career, Deane owned and
operated Central TV & Appliance for 10 years and Furnace Fixers for 3
years in Jaffrey, NH.
Commander DeHotman was preceded in death by his parents; his children,
Kimberly DeHotman, and Jennifer Cupp; and his brother, Edward
DeHotman.
Survivors include his children, Shannon DeHotman Rastogi, Woodstock,
GA and Scott DeHotman, Gadsden, AL; siblings, Jill Seaworth (George),
Huntley, IL, Nancy Fremgen (Rich), Clearwater, FL, and Sally Neidig
(Larry), Slippery Rock, PA; grandchildren, Derek Bosworth, Los
Angeles, CA, Cameron DeHotman, Gadsden, AL, Devraj Rastogi, Woodstock,
GA, Nolan Cupp and Brycen Cupp, Greer, SC.
