Shelter from the Storm, a Jaffrey nonprofit, has announced a new fundraiser at RevoCasino in Keene. From Sept. 28 through Oct. 7, RevoCasino will donate half its proceeds to support the shelter.
“Which means, if you win, you win. If you lose, half of that goes to the Shelter. So I say that is a sure bet of you winning either way,” said Linda Harris, Shelter from the Storm executive director.
Supporters and the public are invited to play anytime during the promotion. A special gathering will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring food, slots and cards. The first 15 attendees will receive $10 vouchers.
Shelter from the Storm relies on community participation in events like Taste of Monadnock and Antiques Road Show, as well as volunteer efforts.
