The DubHub Coffee House & Open Mic will feature West Coast singer-songwriter Chris Baron on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Dublin Community Center, 1123 Main St. The monthly event combines open mic slots with a one-hour featured performance.
Baron performs a blend of funky folk Americana infused with rock, orchestral textures, and genre fusion. His song โGiveโ earned him a spot at the 2022 Tucson Folk Festival, where he won first place in the performance competition. He has since opened for John Craigie, Martyn Joseph, Alison Russell, Mandy Fer and the Talbott Brothers. A veteran performer, Baron has released 28 albums and EPs since 1998.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with open mic performances scheduled before and after the featured set. Coffee and snacks will be available for purchase; attendees may also bring their own food or beverages.
The Coffee House & Open Mic takes place the third Saturday of each month at the DubHub.
