Toah Nipi Christian Retreat Center in Rindge has appointed Abigail “Abby” Stroven as its first chief executive officer.
Stroven comes to Toah Nipi after 16 years at Gordon College’s La Vida Center for Outdoor Education and Leadership in Wenham, Mass., where she served as executive director for eight years. She previously worked for seven years at El Refugio retreat center in Ecuador.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Cedarville University and a master’s degree in outdoor education and leadership from Prescott College.
Stroven will lead the retreat center’s strategic plan to expand its capacity and prepare for future growth.
