Antique clock expert John Delaney to speak at Monadnock Center meeting

The Monadnock Center for History and Culture will feature antique clock expert John Delaney at its 123rd Annual Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m.

Delaney, owner of Delaney Antique Clocks in West Townsend, Mass., specializes in New England clocks and has appeared frequently on PBS’s “Antiques Roadshow.” He will discuss some of the clocks he has encountered in his career and take audience questions.

The museum will open at 6 p.m. for guests to view the center’s clock collection, including two tall case clocks made by renowned 18th-century maker Simon Willard. A brief business meeting will precede the program and light refreshments will be served.

The event is free.
