A man who robbed the TD Bank in New Ipswich in 2014 has been charged with multiple counts related to a robbery at the same location in early April.
According to court documents, Eric Lord, a Greenville resident, allegedly entered the bank on April 2, approached the counter, and put down a note, saying “8 thousand in 30 seconds or I shoot you where you stand.” According to documents, the teller complied, and Lord allegedly left the bank with more than $8,000.
Immediately following the robbery, the Mascenic School District put its three schools into a secured campus status, not allowing outside activities or visitors on campus.
Lord was identified by a New Ipswich police officer, based on the bank surveillance video. He was on parole for a robbery charge at the time of the crime. He ]was arrested two days after the alleged robbery, on April 4, and has been charged with robbery, theft and criminal threatening. His bail has been set at $20,000 cash.
