Francie Von Mertens will present “Native Wild Bees: Pollination Superstars Without Equal” on Thursday, May 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Peterborough Town Library, 2 Concord St. in Peterborough.
The free program will explore the importance of native bees, their role as pollinators and the diversity of their forms in New England. Von Mertens, who helped create the Harris Center’s pollinator garden in Hancock, is involved with the Harris Center, NH Audubon and the Peterborough Conservation Commission.
