The Park Theatre, 19 Main St., Jaffrey, will screen the newly restored concert film “Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII” on Friday, May 16, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The 2025 rerelease of the 1972 film, directed by Adrian Maben, features a restoration from original 35mm footage and a new audio mix by Steven Wilson. Presented by Sony Music Vision and Trafalgar Releasing, the film shows Pink Floyd performing without an audience in the ruins of Pompeii, Italy, and includes scenes from Abbey Road Studios during the making of “The Dark Side of the Moon.”
