The Jaffrey Civic Center will offer an introductory colored pencil course, “Not Your Kids Colored Pencils,” taught by Laurie Bebick, on Wednesdays from noon to 2 p.m. The class runs May 14, May 21, May 28, June 4 and June 11.
The course is designed for those with little to no experience. Each session includes a lecture, demonstration and time to practice techniques. Topics include supplies, pencil strokes, value, color layering, burnishing and use of solvent.
