The Peterborough Recycling Advisory Committee would like to extend their gratitude to Laura Gingras and Monadnock Hospital.
After cleaning up what we could on Parmalee Drive, we alerted Laura to a buildup of trash and recyclables that marred the appearance of this particular road. Not only was she quite receptive, she responded by meeting with hospital personnel, who then came up with an action plan of recruiting MCH volunteers to regularly perform trash removal.
The beautification of our town is something we should not take for granted, and we hope this will encourage other organizations, businesses and households to undertake similar cleanups on the roadways that surround their properties.
