The Wilton Historical Society will meet Thursday, April 10, at 7 p.m. in the Historical Rooms at the Wilton Public/Gregg Free Library, 7 Forest Road, Wilton.

Following a brief business meeting, guest speaker Michael Dell’Orto will present “The Great Flood in 1936,” focusing on the damage the flood caused to area towns. A faded high-water mark from the flood remains visible on the Stony Brook side of the Wilton Falls Building, nearly reaching Main Street.

The program is free and open to the public. An elevator is available.
