Downtown Peterborough and Depot Square merchants will host First Friday on April 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. and later. Shops, galleries and restaurants will stay open late with specials, live music, artist talks, refreshments and more.
Highlights include the “Spring into Art” exhibition at Bass Hall, 19 Grove St., and an ice cream social at Monadnock Academy of Movement Arts, 18 Depot St. MacDowell Downtown will host musical theater artists Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori at 7:30 p.m. at the Monadnock Center. Makerspace/MAXT, 39 Jaffrey Road, will present a talk by ceramic artist Mary Roberts at 6 p.m.
New businesses like Moon Glow Esthetics and NiduStudio/Tribals will offer First Friday deals, and the Peterborough Public Library will feature CE Whiting’s “Actual Size Show.”
