On Thursday, Nov. 16, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m., Antrim Eclectic Book Club members will be discussing Laura Schroff’s “An Invisible Thread” at James A. Tuttle Library, 45 Main St.
This book is “the true story of an 11-year-old panhandler, a busy sales executive, and an unlikely meeting with destiny.” Among the questions book club members will discuss are why 11-year-old Maurice should trust Laura, whether her interest in him is creepy, how Laura’s personal history shapes her behavior, how Maurice’s family life shapes his behavior and the messages the narrative conveys.
Free copies of the book will be available at the library. For information, send email to Steve Ullman at stephenhullman@gmail. Newcomers are welcome.
