The River Center will offer a Summer Sisters mini-camp for middle-school-age girls July 24 to 28.
The goal of the camp is to offer an opportunity for middle-school girls to develop strong and supportive friendships with their peers, so they can develop the building blocks to become leaders and advocates within their communities.
The camp will be from 9 a.m. to noon each day, and the fee is $100 per student.. Scholarships are available so that the cost will not be a barrier for any student. The group will play games, learn about one another, problem-solve and become a group of young women that supports one another’s hopes and goals. Participants should dress for comfort and the weather, as there will be indoor and outdoor activities. Participants will also bring their own snacks and water bottles.
