Zara Bode will headline the Hancock Concert Series Thursday, July 6, at the bandstand on Main Street, starting at 6 p.m.

Bode is a vocalist who has performed at  music festivals and performance venues worldwide. She is one of the Sweetback Sisters, who played recently in Peterborough in the Monadnock Folklore Society series. She will be singing with Silverback Swing, who perform acoustic jazz of the 1920s to 1940s in the style of Django Reinhardt.

The Hancock Farmers and Artisans Market will also be on the Hancock common, starting at 4 pm. There will also be a food truck. Attendees can bring their own chairs or blankets. If it is raining, the concert will be in the lower level of the Hancock Meetinghouse, across the street from the common.
