Jaffrey Library Friends Book Donation Saturday is June 10, 10 a.m. to noon. People can bring up to 25 books to Jaffrey Public Library, 38 Main St., Jaffrey, to the Bean Room on the main level.
Recent paperback and hardback fiction books are popular, but memoirs, biographies and other nonfiction also sell well. The Friends do not accept magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, travel guides, medical, financial advice or computer books.
Summer dates for Book Donation Saturdays are July 8 and Aug. 12. People should not take books to the library staff or leave them in the outside book drop. Funds raised by book sales help support a wide range of library services and programs.
