On Friday, May 19, the Dublin Historical Society will resume its potluck supper after two years.

DHS invites all who wish to attend to share a favorite dish, including hors d’oeuvres, casseroles, salads or desserts. Supper begins at 6 p.m. in the Dublin Community Church Hall, 1125 Main St.

Following supper, Paul Tuller will show his film, “Joseph Lindon Smith: An Artful Life,” about the artist who lived in Dublin for many years and became a member of the historic Dublin Art Colony in the early 20th century. After the showing, Tuller will comment on the production of the film. The Dublin Historical Society provided photographs and archival material for this project. Examples of Lindon Smith’s work, owned by the church, will be on display.

To attend just for the film, the showing will begin at approximately 7 p.m.
