Karen Ayers will present “Remember the Ladies,” a “Let’s Talk History” presentation of the Jaffrey Historical Society for the Jaffrey 250 celebration, Thursday, May 11, at 7 p.m. at the Jaffrey Civic Center, 40 Main St.
Ayers will discuss notable women of the past who have contributed to the growth and vitality of Jaffrey: Hannah Davis, Susan Clay, Alice Poole, Alice Lehtinen, Marion Mack Johnson, Margaret Robinson, Josephine Wetherell and Emily Preston.
