Adam Swanson will perform at Dublin Arts & Muse Gallery, 1459 Main St. in Dublin, Saturday, April 1, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 2, at 3 p.m.

Swanson is a pianist and historian of vintage American popular music, including ragtime, early jazz, and the Great American Songbook. He has been a featured performer and lecturer at ragtime and jazz festivals across the United States and abroad, and he is the only four-time winner of the World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest.

He made his New York debut in Carnegie Hall at the age of 19, and has appeared alongside pianist John Arpin at the Bohem Ragtime and Jazz Festival in Hungary.

Swanson has accompanied silent films at the Cinecon Classic Film Festival in Hollywood and performed privately for Oscar-winning composer Richard M. Sherman. He has also performed a solo concert at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage in Washington, D.C.
