Sebastian Lockwood will present readings from his new book, “Written in Granite: Monadnock Poems & Stories,” on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Dublin Community Center (DubHub), 1123 Main St., Dublin, from 6 to 7 p.m.
The book features 14 poems and four stories, interwoven with paintings and photographs that complement the themes. The stories are set in 1862 at the Fox Tavern in Hancock Inn, and feature notable figures, including Emily Dickinson and Helen Hunt Jackson, both close friends. Fly Rod Crosby, an accomplished sportswoman, also appears in the stories.
