Peterborough Concert Series presents “A Celtic Christmas” with Ishna at the Peterborough Town House, 1 Grove St., on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 8 p.m.
Ciaran Nagle, a founding member of the Three Irish Tenors and his wife, former “Riverdance” violinist Tara Novak, formed Ishna in Dublin, Ireland, in 2009. They moved to Peterborough in November 2018.
Ishna’s “A Celtic Christmas” focuses on performing traditional holiday ballads, Irish step dancing and stories from the old country. In addition to Nagle and Novak, Ishna features Dan Meyers on uilleann pipes, Bjorn Wennas on guitar, Brian O’Neill on bodhran and percussion, David McGrory on piano and keyboards and Irish dancers Kevin Doyle and Kieran Joran.
Tickets are $35 to $49, and can purchased in-person at Toadstool in Peterborough or online at peterboroughconcert.eventbrite.com.
