The annual Noel on Norway Pond concert be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 4 p.m. in Hancock’s First Congregational Church at 47 Main St.
The concert will showcase the Celtic band Waking Finnegan and feature the Norway Pond Festival Singers and the young singers of Jr. Mints. The combined musical forces will be singing and playing traditional holiday favorites and songs from the Emerald Isle. Audience participation will be encouraged.
Noel on Norway Pond tickets are $25 for adults, and students of all ages are free.
Caroling on the Common, the annual outdoor festival of holiday carols, will be Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 4 p.m. on the Hancock Common just across from the Hancock Meetinghouse. This event is free, with donations welcome. The carols will again be led by Jody Hill Simpson along with professional trumpeters, and carol booklets will be provided. Participants should bring candles.
