Hearts & Bones (formerly Gumboots) will perform the music of Paul Simon Saturday, Nov. 26, at 8 p.m. at the Peterborough Town House, 1 Grove St., as part of the Peterborough Concert Series.

Hearts & Bones on Thanksgiving weekend has turned into the local band annual homecoming, not only because of Simon’s famous “Saturday Night Live” skit when he dressed up as a turkey to sing “Still Crazy,” but because of the band’s connection to the Monadnock Region.

The band formed in the summer of 2018 after performing a night of Simon’s music at Harlow’s Pub, and they have since gone on to perform around the Northeast with their shows that include material from all six decades of Simon’s catalog.

The group consists of local musicians Duncan Pelletier on keyboards/vocals, Erik White on guitars/vocals, Ethan McBrien on bass, Jeremy Valadez on alto/tenor saxophone/flute, Jordan Cusano on drums, Matt Abatelli on tenor saxophone, Matt Rivero on trumpet, Nick Heys on keyboards/accordion, Rachel Allen on vocals, Rory Hurley on lead guitar, Tobey LaRoche on percussion and Yahuba Garcia-Torres on percussion.

Tickets start at $25 and are available at the Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough or online at peterboroughconcertseries.com.

The Peterborough Concert Series is a recurring concert series bringing national and regional bands to Peterborough’s historic Town House.
