Electric Earth Concerts presents Relic Sunday, Nov. 20, at 4 p.m. at The Park Theatre, 19 Main St. in Jaffrey.
EEC’s final performance of the season will be a concert of baroque concerti and other masterworks by the greatest composers of their age, performed by the young musicians of Relic, an ensemble specializing in performance on period instruments.
Relic is a small chamber orchestra with the goal of producing textured, theatrical performances. Their aim is to create thoughtful performances at the highest level, share the joy of their art and educate people about their first love, historical performance.
The concert will include works by composers that include Johann Sebastian Bach, Arcangelo Corelli, George Friederic Handel, Alessandro Scarlatti, and Antonio Vivaldi.
General admission is $30, payable online or with cash or checks at the door. Students may attend for free.
Relic will also be performing a free, hour-long concert designed for families at noon, also at The Park Theatre in Jaffrey.
