The Page to Screen Book Club at Ingalls Memorial Library, 203 Main St. in Rindge, is currently reading Ken Kesey’s “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.”
This novel, set in a mental hospital, is a study of power and the effects it has on those who don’t have it. Copies of the book are available at the library.
On Monday, Nov. 14, at 1:30 p.m., there will be a screening of the movie, starring Jack Nicholson as Randal P. McMurphy, Louise Fletcher as Nurse Ratched and Will Sampson as Chief Bromden. The movie swept all five major 1975 Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. It also features Brad Dourif, Danny DeVito and Christopher Lloyd in his film debut.
Reading the book is optional. Free refreshments will be served.
