Regarding Bernie Woods’ letter of Oct. 18 (“Glad to see shared perspective”), Peterborough is a place that values people for what they do, not which political signs they post in their yards.
Dave DeWitt spent years helping the ConVal district revive their manufacturing program. He helped align the curriculum with local manufacturers’ needs. He helped start up MAxTMakerspace. The last thing that would happen to someone who has so generously contributed his time to the future of area young people and businesses’ workforce needs would be to run them out of town.
