People can join a tournament, listen to some live entertainment or take a hot-air balloon ride at the New Ipswich Autumn Fest Saturday.
Autumn Fest is scheduled for Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Memorial Park in New Ipswich, located at 7 Playground Road.
This year, there is a cornhole tournament for those with a competitive spirit. It is $10 to enter, and the winning team receives half of the total amount raised through registrations. Those interested in registering for the tournament can do so at nird.recdesk.com/community/program, under the Cornhole 2022 event.
There will be live music on the field, and tables by local vendors for shopping.
For children, there will be live entertainers, including a magician and Kosmic Kelly, an educational children’s entertainer who provides interactive science experiments and demonstrations. There will also be town vehicles available for children to explore in a touch-a-truck event, face-painting and hayrides.
There will be games, including a Nerf war, an obstacle course and a fast-pitch game.
Toward the end of the day, the Re/Max Town Square hot air balloon will be on the field to provide tethered air balloon rides from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The rides are $15 per person, and all proceeds will benefit Boston Children’s Hospital.
