My name is Peter Koutroubas, I am running for state representative in District 30, which represents the towns of Antrim, Bennington, Hillsborough and Windsor. I am asking for your vote on Nov. 8.
I was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for over 32 years. I served as postmaster of Antrim from 2006 until I retired in March of 2021. I was dedicated to the people I served as the postmaster of Antrim, as I will be if elected to the state House.
These are some of my positions on issues currently facing our elected officials. I will fight for women’s reproductive rights. In my opinion, nobody but a woman and her physician should have any say in that woman’s decision to terminate her pregnancy.
I will support and defend public education. Monies collected for public education should not be diverted to families who choose to send their children to private schools.
There should be more affordable housing available to low- to middle-income wage-earners.
People should not have to choose between heating their homes or putting food on their tables or needed prescription medications.
These are my positions on some of the many issues facing families in New Hampshire, and defending these positions is what I will do in Concord if elected.
I am respectfully asking for your vote on Nov. 8. If you have any questions or issues that you think should be addressed in Concord at the state level, feel free to contact me at peterk4nh@gmail.com.
