BronwinSouthwick has been named the winner of the Jaffrey Woman’s Club’s $1,000 Adult Continuing Education Scholarship. 

Southwick is a pharmacy technician at the Rite Aid in Jaffrey. She began her career as a dental hygienist in Virginia, where her husband was stationed before his retirement and the family’s return to Jaffrey. She is now attending River Valley Community College in Claremont pursuing a degree in radiologic technology, in addition to working and raising five children.

Southwick loves the clinical aspects of radiology and looks forward to the possibilities as an X-ray technologist upon completion of her degree next year. 

The Jaffrey Woman’s Club promotes civic, cultural and charitable projects in support of the community.  Membership is open to all Monadnock-area women age 18 and over.
