An event celebrating the revitalization of Miller State Park atop Pack Monadnock will take place Friday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m. at the summit.
Five years of upgrades included removing old conduit, painting buildings, improving views, improving parking, reimagining the poles and wires up to the summit and burying wires across the access road. State employees, private companies and local volunteers took part in the process.
The celebration will include a ribbon-cutting, historical highway marker and cake.
