MilliporeSigma’s Curiosity Cube will be stopping in Jaffrey on its international tour, with both school and public events to be held at Jaffrey Public Library, 38 Main St.
The library will host the Curiosity Cube for Jaffrey Grade Schools students Friday, Sept. 30, and will stay open additional hours to host the cube for a public event, open to all ages, on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
MilliporeSigma’s Curiosity Cube is a 22- by 10-foot, retrofitted shipping container that has been transformed into a mobile science lab featuring interactive, hands-on science experiments led by local MilliporeSigma employees. Visitors have the opportunity to learn from scientists working in the community and explore STEM careers. This year’s theme is the microbiome.
The Curiosity Cube is accessible to people with disabilities. For information, contact Julie Perrin at Jaffrey Public Library at 603-532-7301.
