The Wilton Collaborative Space, 25 Gregg St. in Wilton, will host a caregivers’ drop-in sponsored by Wilton Public & Gregg Free Library Friday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m.
Attendees will receive free copies of “How Can I Help?” by Ram Dass to attendees. Discussion and refreshments will be available, as this is a time for those who care for others to connect, share experiences, learn about available area resources and take some time out for self-care.
The Oct. 14 drop-in will feature Danielle Beaudette of The Cozy Tea Cart offering insights on various teas. Tea in fancy china cups will be served, along with treats. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the library at 603-654-2581.
Project Linus continues every second and fourth Tuesday for the month at 10 a.m. Participants can finish fleece blankets that will be given to first-responders for children in crisis. This is a project of Second Congregational Church. All are welcome.
On Thursday, Sept. 15 at noon, the “Moms In a Pickle!” make-and-take event will provide tips for mothers, fathers and anyone interested in learning how to make pickles from local produce. On Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m., Nikki Andrews will demonstrate making simple grape jelly and discuss ideas to get people started on their own jam- and jelly-making adventures.
