I’m writing in response to Jeanne Dietsch, the editorial and all letters to the editor Aug. 23 and 26. They mentioned “white supremacy,” “Nazi,” “libertarians,” “Freedom Caucus,” “Free Staters” and “religion” over 25 times.

They call us “radical.” We are “radical” to believe in the Constitution, America and Jesus Christ. They stated we are “… advancing at an accelerating pace. Almost as rapidly as the fires, floods, wars and famines it fuels.” However, fires, floods, famines and wars have been on Earth since original sin.

They stick their hands in our pockets for the “common good.” We believe it is not wise to become dependent on government handouts. They force us to pay for their public school system where we have no representation. We call that “taxation without representation.” They have signs on the side of the roads that preach in bold letters “Love wins.” Underneath “Love wins” in small print it states 10 human characteristics. We, my brothers and sisters, didn’t make the list.

We preach love is in the soul of all people. They believe in the federal government and regulations to govern people. We believe in the New Testament to govern individuals. They wrote we follow the Koch brothers, Freedom Caucus, Free Staters and Hillsdale College. We follow the Holy Spirit and a individual relationship with Jesus Christ. They wrote it is a “coup.” We believe it is a “coup” that happened over 2,000 years ago, when the authorities, rulers and principalities hung our savior on a cross for thinking and living a different lifestyle than them. We believe when we follow Jesus Christ we are free to love and they never can take that freedom from us. Let’s go to the ballot box and vote for freedom.
