Book Donation Saturday returns to Jaffrey Public Library, 38 Main St., Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to noon to restock the book sale shelves on the main floor and the lower level across from the water fountain.
Participants should bring their books to the Bean Room on the main level. People can bring 10 books in good condition and volunteers with book sale experience will screen them and potentially add them to the sales. These Saturdays are the only times book donations can be accepted, and people should not take any boxes or bags of books to the library staff.
The criteria for accepting books are posted by the two sale locations. These shelves are reviewed and replenished weekly. Further Book Donation Saturdays will be Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10.
Funds raised by the Friends of the Jaffrey Library help support library services, including T-Mobile Hot Spots, museum and park passes (check out the New Hampshire State Park Pass this summer) and programs.
