J. A. Tarbell Library, 136 Forest Road in Lyndeborough, will present “New England Quilts and the Stories They Tell” with Pamela Week Thursday, July 21, at 3 p.m. as part of its Summer Talks program.

On Thursday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m., the library will present “Meet Lucy Stone: Enter the Antebellum World of the Abolition and Women” with Judith Black. The event is sponsored the Humanities to Go program from New Hampshire Humanities.
The library’s Summer Reading Program will offers stories and crafts at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays. Summer Reading Bingo is returning, and participants can get their cards at the library or online at jatarbelllibrary.org.
