The Park Theatre, located at 19 Main St. in Jaffrey, will present a concert from Session Americana Friday, July 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the William David Eppes 333-seat auditorium.
The members of Session Americana include musicians, vocalists and songwriters, including Billy Beard, Jon Bistline, Ry Cavanaugh, Dinty Child, Jim Fitting and Jefferson Hamer. The group has weekly residencies at Toad and Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, Mass., performing songs from the American Songbook.
The band has performed at numerous festivals, including Sisters Folk, Galway International Arts, Rocky Mountain Folks, New England Festy, Green River, Wheatlands, Stockholm Kulturfest, Cork Folk, Crashfest, High Sierra, Four Corners, Naked Song, Old Settlers, Ramblin Roots and Strawberry.

On the day of the concert, The Lounge Bar at The Park Theatre will be open at 5:30 p.m. with singer-songwriter-musician Eve Pierce performing prior to the Session Americana concert. Pierce will also play in The Lounge on Aug. 19 and Sept. 16.
On Saturday, July 16, Bernie and Louise Watson will play in The Lounge from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., performing standards from the first 50 years of the last century, including Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and Rodgers & Hart.
