J. A. Tarbell Library, 136 Forest Road in Lyndeborough, will host the following summer talks:
— Wednesday, June 22, 6:30 p.m.: “Radio Turns 100: The Golden Age of Entertainment,” presented by Mike Morin. Frank FM Radio morning co-host, Mike Morin, takes attendees on a tour of radio’s first 100 years, as the medium celebrates its century mark this year.
— Wednesday, July 13, 6:30 p.m.: “Back from the Edge,” with Mike Beebe. One man’s journey from cardiovascular disease to the nearest ski slope.
— Thursday, July 21, 3 p.m.: “New England Quilts and the Stories They Tell with Pamela Week,” sponsored by the Humanities to Go Program from New Hampshire Humanities.
— Thursday Aug. 18, 2 p.m.: “Meet Lucy Stone: Enter the Antebellum World of the Abolition and Women with Judith Black,” sponsored by the Humanities to Go Program from New Hampshire Humanities.
