The Lyndeborough Historical Society will begin its annual meeting Saturday, June 18, with a potluck picnic on the grounds of the Center Hall at noon.
People should bring something to share, and can stroll the grounds and eat under the trees or at the town pound. The society will provide lemonade. In the event of inclement weather, the picnic will move into the hall.
The Center Church will be open for tours so people can learn more about this historic building the society is hoping to purchase for town use. A short business meeting will be held at 2 p.m. followed by a program on Lyndeborough Glass, including pieces from a recent gift.
The event is free, and everyone is welcome. New members are needed for upcoming programs and projects.
