The Grapevine Family and Community Resource Center, 4 Aiken St. in Antrim, is beginning a community support group about grief and loss called Stronger Together.
Meetings will be at The Grapevine from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sundays, May 15 and June 12.
This program is open to everyone, and is not just for those who have lost a loved one. Examples of grief include divorce or changes in a relationship, including friendships; changes in health or the health of a loved one; losing a job or changes in financial security; life changes that someone wasn’t prepared for, including pandemic-related upheavals.
The Grapevine recognizes all types of grief and loss and is looking to provide a safe, supportive space for community members to gather. This is not a bereavement or therapeutic group. It will be peer-led and facilitated by Grapevine staff members Nancy Macalester and Erica Snyder.
For information or to register, call The Grapevine 603-588-2620 or send email to info@grapevinenh.org. Drop-ins are welcome, and child care can be made available.
