Peterborough Town Library is starting a seed library program. Volunteer Colette Lucas and the library are hosting an introductory meeting Monday, April 11, at 2 p.m. for all interested in helping the community begin and sustain a seed library.
The project will include helping people learn to save seed, collecting seed stories, helping connect gardeners of all levels and creating reliable access to seeds for the community. The library is looking for people with a variety of skills who are willing to help at all levels: ideas people, gardeners, artists, worker beesย and educators.ย Lucas will make a short presentation during the introductory meeting, followed by a discussion and questions.ย
