New Hampshire 4-H is hosting a volunteer leaders conference in Waterville Valley April 9 and 10.
Workshops include “Sparks – Let’s Make It Happen,” on ways to engage youth and keep them involved; “Leadership Compass,” on understanding leadership style and approach; “Youth as Partners,” on how to become mentors and support programs for teens; “How to lead a Hike” and “Teen Mental Health.”
Participants can attend one or both days. Prices are $65 for the weekend, $45 for Saturday only and $30 for Sunday only, including meals. Registration closes March 31. For information, visit the conference website.
