Both the Conant and Mascenic boys’ basketball teams were eliminated from the Divison III basketball tournament Tuesday night.

 

White Mountains 41, Conant 36

Senior Garrett Somero scored a team-high 16 points, but No. 12 Conant couldn’t overcome No. 5 White Mountains, as Avery Hazelton dropped 20 points in the win. 

Jordan Nagle added eight for Conant. 

Conant finishes the season at 10-9.

 

Kearsarge 78, Mascenic 48

The Vikings trailed by just six points at halftime at Kearsarge Tuesday, but were outscored 41-17 the rest of the way, as Sam Carl went off for 36 points to give the No. 3 Cougars a win over No. 14 Mascenic. 

Adam Stauffeneker provided a spark for Mascenic, with 12 points. 

The Vikings finish the year at 7-12.
