ConVal senior lineman Gareth Armstrong announced his commitment to play football at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge next fall.
“After numerous conversations with my family and the coaches, I am proud to say that I am continuing my athletic and athletic career at Franklin Pierce University,” Armstrong wrote in an announcement Monday.
Armstrong was ConVal’s only First Team All-State selection this fall as an offensive lineman and was also picked to play in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock CHaD game on June 25 at Saint Anselm College.
FPU went 0-10 in Division II in 2021 under head coach Russell Gaskamp.
