Peterborough Concert Series presents “A Celtic Christmas” with Ishna at the Town House Saturday, Dec. 18, at 8 p.m.

Ciaran Nagle, a founding member of The Three Irish Tenors and former “Riverdance” vocalist, formed Ishna in Dublin, Ireland, in 2009 and now calls Peterborough home along with his wife Tara Novak, who is a violinist, singer and composer. Ishna focuses on performing Irish traditional music, while also bringing world music and contemporary influences into its arrangements.

“A Celtic Christams” features Nagle on lead vocals, Novak on fiddle and lead vocals, Dan Meyers on uilleann pipes, Bjorn Wennas on guitar, Brian O’Neill on bodhran and percussion, David McGrory on piano and keyboards and Irish dancers Kevin Doyle and Kieran Joran.

Tickets are $35 to $45, and can purchased in person at Toadstool in Peterborough, or online at peterboroughconcertseries.com.

For fans of Celtic and folk music, “On a Winter’s Night” with Lucy Kaplansky, John Gorka, Patty Larkin and Cliff Eberhardt is scheduled for the Town House on Sunday, Jan. 23.
